Hometown: Crystal Lake, IL
DPQoL Involvement: Right now I am working on the FaMe study which is developing a wearable fall detection device. I have been apart of this study for around two years. Currently I also work as the lab coordinator. As the lab coordinator I am responsible for monitoring the social media / email as well as updating the website periodically.
Career Goals: I am a senior majoring in kinesiology with a minor in disability studies. I am on the pre- physical therapy track and will be attending physical therapy school this summer at Northern Illinois University. My career goal is to become a pediatric physical therapist and work to help children with disabilities.
Favorite Thing About Champaign/Urbana: My favorite thing about Urbana-Champaign is that I have made such great friends on campus. I always have something to do and I have such a great support system on campus!
Enjoyment Outside of School/Work: I volunteer with Illini Service Dogs. I take weekly sessions with a service dog and I love getting to see the dogs grow and learn overtime!
